so where do I go from here?

I came back from Birmingham with high spirits thinking about starting up workshops, possibly doing the MA Ive always wanted to do or even going back to freelance design work, but a week later and my head is still confused as what to do. All I know is I need a new job that involves working with people and textiles, but not sure how to go about it with the economy the way it is. If anyone who views my blog has the time to write a comment or give advice I would truly appreciate it.

  1. i there, sorry for how you feel it is so difficult. I have managed to set up an enrichment for screen printing in a school, just a couple of hrs a week, it has helped me focus/practice my own work, but like you I am still in a pickle. I have decided on a project working with pigment on paper...at present have no binder and have used every last scrap of paper testing things out.Still so many hurdles...
For you one thought could be have online classes. Did some with a woman called Dionne Swift and did consider it an option...beside which I enjoyed the time with other like mind people.

  2. Thank you so much for your reply, its just refreshing and uplifting to know someone out there is reading my blog. It may be that I go back to teaching but hopefully teach textiles. Who knows, watch this space. But thank you for your feedback
